A wonderful photographer from Utah, contacted me yesterday morning to see if I would send her some pictures that she could post on her blog. She does a really neat posting on every wednesday, called "WedWed~Wedding Wednesday". She will be featuring wedding designers that she thinks brides will like. So of course I was excited and sent off pictures asap. So check it out at www.kayleentphotography.blogspot.com . While you are there check out her website, her work is beautiful. Thank you Kayleen for thinking of me!

These designs were inspired by my love of the peacock! Now I have to say I am really afraid of birds, don't like to be anywhere need our feather friends, but I love see a peacock from a far. They are so graceful, and majestic. The colors on the feathers are so rich, and I do love color. So I designed this headpiece for a photo shoot and everyone loved it, it is a little far out. The photo shoot was during a Love Affair Workshop, hosted by 4 AMAZING photographers, check out the website www.loveaffairworkshop.com or go to www.millieholloman.com for more info. You can purchase this fun headpiece, or I can design something similar for a bridal party. These colors are becoming poplar in wedding decor. This headpiece is priced at $25.oo. If you are interested, go to my website and www.joannemirandadesigns.com and let me know. The necklace with the peacock pendant is also available and it is priced at $30.00 and you can do the same and contact me through my site, both this items are going to be added to my etsy shop very soon. The necklace is a one of a kind. If you are inspired by the peacock feather, and what to add it to your wedding. Contact me. So hope to hear from you!

My "Valentine Bride" loves her new headpiece & veil! I am so excited, and I can't wait to see how she will look on her special day! Keep watching for her pictures next month!
I just got a email from Southern Wedding, and they added my name to the post about the bride Megan, I made her beautiful vintage style hat for her wedding. I am so happy they did that for me. It is great blog for any new bride or just someone that loves "anything bridal"...There have launched a new magazine, and I will be on the hut to purchase it. There are so many beautiful picture in it. Alot of the vendors that are featured are local people that I admire so very much, such as Millie Holloman, and her many talents photographers, Jennifer with Salt Harbor Designs, and many more I am sure.
Finally, getting back to what I love too do, create something for a wonderful bride. I am working on a flower headpiece, look it's red, my favorite color. This bride is renewing her vows on Valentine's Day and is wearing a ivory dress w/red sash and in the back it is tied in a kimono style bow, love it! She will also will be wearing a bandeau style birdca
ge veil, and I am adding small swarovski clear crystals. As you see this is the early stages, I will post a picture of it when is is complete.
